Customer service is probably the most difficult test your customer can put you through and the most important one to pass with the highest score possible.
Your customers want to know that they have someone that will help them if help is needed and answer their questions. Knowing this, among other things is what turns your source of information to one they prefer over books on the subject.
Good customer service is just like in any land-based store, the main reason for a person to return to a place. You will naturally return to a place that helped you with problems that occurred and made your purchase/research smooth and enjoyable. A bad customer service is ranked as the highest reason for people leaving a land or web based service.
There is more than one way existing to serve your customers and in this case- the more, the better. Different sites however require different kinds of services. It's important you know about all of them so that you can decide which are the best for your customers.
