| What are affiliate programs?

Affiliate programs are actually a financial agreement between a merchant web site and a Webmaster. In this agreement the merchant web site pays the Webmaster a commission for the traffic he directs to his site. The payment and its conditions vary from one affiliate program to the other although there are a few basic kinds that I will specify in this section.
 Affiliation is literally a relationship between the two (webmaster and merchant) that brings profit to both. Affiliation programs are one of the best ways to make money today.
